Firstly, thanks for entering my first 'judged' contest. Love the concentration as the conductor engages with his choir (thanks for the background details). The glasses are perched on the end of his nose so he can glance down at his score. The out of focus hand balances the image in this almost square crop, without being a distraction. Great job, well done!

Firstly, thanks for entering my first 'judged' contest.. I really liked seeing this artist at work and the expression as he looks at the camera over his glasses at the camera (or the photographer). The B&W treatment has been handled well with great tonality across the image and the decision to use the spot red colour has been very effective, even to include the paint on the brush. Great job, well done.
Firstly, thanks for entering my first 'judged' contest.. Really like the silhouette effect against the light coming through through the frosted glass window, that captures not only this man's glasses but the texture of his beard as well. It reminds me a bit of those portrait cut-outs that were popular before photography became available to the people. Great job, well done!
Firstly, thanks for entering my first 'judged' contest.. Love the colours and the semi-silhouette here of this lady and the reflections on the lenses of her glasses. The bright colours really capture the imagination of the viewer and make us wonder where she is and what she is doing. A well-captured and processed image, well done!
Firstly, thanks for entering my first 'judged' contest. Lovely young woman in costume including the lorgnettes which add to the 'period look' to the image. I was hoping there would be at least one photo with these and you didn't disappoint, thank you - It helped make your image stand out from the crowd. Great job, well done
