People with Colourful Backgrounds

I really wanted to tell you how much I love this image. The use of opposite colours is so clever and really makes this an amazing image. I loved it as soon as I saw it. This almost made it to my top 10, but my reason for not, was because I felt that she wasn't on a colourful background, but instead on a white one. I think if she would have been in white on the red side, it may have been a different decision. But overall a great image.

For a studio shot I feel like the use of the blue backdrop with the orange dress works perfectly. It really brings out the dress and the colours don't clash at all. I also love that this is a profile image of her which you don't see very often. Well done for 3rd place.

This image really caught my eye, and I think its all about the use of colours. Sometimes same colours of subject on same colour background don't work, but this one really does. I think the use of the red lipstick really adds the perfect touch to make it an amazing image. Well done for being in my top 10.

Wow, what an amazing set of stairs with brilliant walls. It is made up of so many different shades of blue which adds dimension to the image. For this image to work the composition is important and I really feel like you got it spot on. Also where you decided to capture the person walking is the perfect spot and very pleasing to an OCD eye that I have. Thank you for submitting such a great image and well done.

This is such a beautiful portrait that looks so great against this colourful background. I think the fact she is wearing black and cream clothing instead of colourful clothing, means that the background adds to the photograph and works alongside the portrait rather than taking away from it. Well done.
