People with Crazy or Creative Hair

Congratulations on coming 1st place in my competition. I love this shot. The symmetry is just brilliant. I think the fact that everything else in the image is also symmetrical really emphasises her hair being half and half in colour. I'm glad you got her to do a downward glaze/close her eyes . By doing this, you have drawn more attention to her hair. Well done.

I just wanted to give this image a mention. There is something about it that I love, I think its the rawness of the image , and the expression. Well done for capturing a great image. A truly deserved Highly Commended.

Congratulations on 2nd place. Another image of 2 tone hair, which is definitely hitting the brief. But I chose this one because of the lighting. I think the sunlight just lighting parts of her face looks beautiful. It also adds highlights to the black parts of her hair which makes it stand out more. Her eye makeup being colourful really suits her colourless hair too. Well done.

Congratulations on getting into my top 10. This is such a beautiful portrait. I love the colours and fact that her hair is wet means that you can easily see each colour. The depth of field in the background is great although it is a shame one of her eyes is out of focus. But overall a wonderful image.

Well done on getting into my top 10. I love that you chose a black studio for this image. It really makes her hair pop! Also well done for not loosing her against the back background. Black on black can be very difficult to shoot but you have lit and exposed it perfectly. Well done!
