This is a wonderful and strong image of a woman working hard in the fishing industry. I was in doubt for some time to award it in my top ten, but because of the strong dark corners at the top I decided not to. Nevertheless, congratulations on shooting such a beautiful photo!

A very strong image with a great leading line from the worker to the product. The color of the fire and the reflecting light on the worker in contrast to the monochrome surrounding makes one focus on the process and creates a wonderful peace to the image.

I really like the attention and action of the worker in performing his craft. I prefer a more natural editing but the composition and feeling of this image are very strong and attracted my attention the moment I saw it. An inspirational photo.

A seemingly simple but effective image to show industry and craft without the need of a supporting environment. Seemingly, because this is a very careful and well arranged image. The feeling of working together to achieve something is crucial in this theme. The background is obviously de-saturated into black and white, a technique I normally would disapprove of, but in this case it certainly works very well!

Congratulations on winning this contest. I love the careful lighting which gives the photo an almost surreal feeling. The square cropping is a nice choice in this case and creates a strong focus on the women who looks like an angel working on clouds, lovely.

Such a wonderful, creative and funny image, not exactly what I was looking for because the eyes of the creator are very intimidating and draw the focus completely to the person instead of the process or the product.
