Pigeons

Congratulations for being in my top 10! The thing that stood out the most to me was how the pigeon is framed in the leaves. This is very pleasing to the eye. There is wonderful use of depth of field and the position of the pigeon works brilliantly. I also love the contrast of the green and grey. Well done.

Congratulations for 1st place in my competition. First thing I thought, without reading your description was that this pigeon looked like it was performing. The way it has its mouth open, and then the bokah in the background looking like lights, its absolutely brilliant. Also your composition makes it look like it is on a stage. Well Done.

Congratulations on top 10! What an adorable photograph. You dont often notice birds sleeping seen as they sleep sat up. But capturing it with its eyes closed makes the perfect cute pigeon photograph. The lighting is beautiful, a lovely soft glow to the image. I also love the bokah in the background. Well done.

This is a brilliant image! I love how the pigeon has its eyes closed just like the statues do. Not sure if this was just luck, or you noticed the shot and took it, bit either way it works so well. Well done for a great shot!
