Posed Portraits of People

This is what I am looking for in a portrait. The pose with her hands brings our eyes to focus upon her face as well as the blurred background color. The subject moved her hair at an angle to lean over on her shoulder, showing how long her hair is another great feature for this portrait of this subject. Amazing!

I am so curious to know your trick on getting this young lady to pose like this. A great portrait for a young girl. The image makes you focus on the eyes just as much as the curly blonde hair. A great smile and a great picture any parent would be proud to frame.

This image was such a good turnout. Whoever the MUA was that darkened the subject's skin was phenomenal. The beads around his neck gives this such tribunal energy to the picture as much as the makeup on his face. The amount of light gives the much needed detail to his face and the decoration around him is an added bonus to this picture. Congratulations on this art piece. This needs to be in an exhibit.

I -really- love this. From the background of the old and dirty brick wall, to the pose, to the outfit and top hat. This gives such an amazing old school look to a portrait photo. Great model and great photo! This is a perfect example on how the subject does not needs to look into the camera to make it a great photo.

I have to give it to the subject and the photographer here. This is a very unique pose and portrait. Holding the mirrors in her hands gives this photo almost three different points off view. Its almost three pictures in one! I felt my eyes drawn to seeing the face from the right facing mirror and the subject herself. This is not only a amazing portrait, but an amazing art piece!

I love the detail captured in this picture. Everything is sharp about the subject from the strands of his hair to his finger. The background and the lighting on our facing left soft creating just enough shadow on him to still see enough of his shirt. Amazing work.

This old school gangster and his girl energy is amazing in this picture. I can't help but love this look. Every old school movie picture has a woman in a red dress and a man in a suit. Both looking sharp! This could be the cover for a movie and I would have believed it if you put the title of a random movie name in front of them. Great job to the photographer and the subjects in the picture.

This is an amazing photo. One of a kind. I am imagining the woman as an WW2 army wife surprising her husband before he's off to patrol the skies in the plane. Great WW2 vibe with the outfit choice! Wonderful!

An great family portrait here. I could see this picture on a postcard, sent out to the rest of the family. The child's look of awe at the lights as he's just getting used to Christmas. The Christmas tree in the background that lights the background just enough for a background image and the light in the child's hand gives the perfect amount of light for the family. Amazing!
