Pumpkins

There is something almost dainty about this image and the colours of the pumpkins are particularly pleasing.

Personally, I would have focused the image on the pumpkins, however, and not the netting, simply because if the netting is to be the focus the pumpkins, with their bright colours, detract from the netting, whilst if the pumpkins are meant to be the focus, the focus on the netting detracts attention from the pumpkins.

I love the creativity of this; it is such a playful image. It is one of those photos where you find yourself wondering how it was done, but like any good magic trick you feel that knowing how it was done probably makes some of the magic disappear.

The lighting in this is gorgeous, and the composition simple enough not to detract from the pumpkin and the focus of the image. There is nothing I would have done differently.
