Religious Buildings

I really liked this photograph due to the use of symmetry and colour. The gold arches are enhanced by the grey clouds which appear to be taken as a long exposure shot. The details of the arch in the foreground compliment the Church structure in the background in a well balanced image. A worthy winner.

I really like this starry skies photos with the Abbey ruins set against it. You can tell that the photographer has carefully considered the angle and composition to capture this image. This photo has lovely rich soft green tones against the rough texture of the building. A well thought out photo.
