Congratulations on top 10 in my competition. This Image is adorable. The turtle looks so cute just sat there on the branch smiling away. I also love the use of negative space. I am glad you kept in the clouded area in the background, some would be tempted to take it out, but for me it adds an extra element of nature to it and I can also see the depth of field by leaving it in, Well done.

Congratulations on 1st place in my competition. I love this image. I love the bright green highlighted against the black, I love the black and white that is highlighted on the snakes body and I also love the composition having some negative space around the snake. But what I love the most is the snakes expression. It almost looks like it is laughing. Well Done.

Congratulations for making my top 10. There were many studio images of reptiles in this competition, but there was a few things that helped me choose yours. Firstly, the beautiful, bright colours really attracted my eye to your image. Secondly, the amount of detail than can be seen on the lizards body, and thirdly the lizards position. I love that it is perched facing the camera, you actually almost feel a connection with the animal and I see this as a true animal portrait. Well done.

Congratulations on 2nd place. I see this as so many types of images in one. Firstly a very artistic image, the highlighted areas against the black background make it look very alone, moving slow through the darkness, maybe heading for prey. Secondly, I can see it being quite abstract in the way that at first glance, you may not know what you are looking at. And lastly, I find it quite documentary, looking down upon an alligator is an angle you don't often see and I find it quite a daunting angle. Well done.

Congratulations for top 10 in my competition. I chose your image because the colours really stood out to me. It was an image I kept going back to and looking at. I also think that you have captured great detail in the chameleon's face, and its expression is almost grumpy looking, which is very cute. Well done.
