Rust on Smaller Items (in colour)

This image caught my eye straight away. The contrast of the rusty tools against the colour of the grate is beautiful. I love the damp look about the tools, it really brings out the rust. The hole in the grate surrounded by rust seems to break up the repeating pattern. Overall a great image, nice colours, nicely lit and some great rust. First off, a big thankyou to all who entered this contest, I have thoroughly enjoyed viewing the images. This image is great. I love all the detail you have preserved yet really showcasing the rust. The rust colour is lovely. The details of the cogs, screws and writing are excellent. So intricate. The image intrigued me and I studied it for a while. This watch has really stood the test of time.
