Who would have thought that a simple but huge pumping station, growing old and rusting, would become such a beautiful thing? For me, this photo evokes the past, but not simply: it is also a tribute to the present. And I like the idea that it's not an abandoned object, but also respected. Here, obviously, the photographer loves the object he is photographing. Congratulations for this very beautiful image well in the theme and a big thank you for having participated in my challenge! And congratulations also for this first place!

Obviously, you sent several very high level images, all in theme and composed with art, science and love. It's a strong photo that raises questions about the purpose of our work seen a few years later. Nothing has fallen into disrepair here: the workshop is well cleaned and this indicates continuity over time. Congratulations on your 3rd place and thank you for participating in my challenge.

No nostalgia here. The rusty buildings are still there to produce - well, we can easily imagine that. It's a very beautiful image, well worked and very original, with a good depth of field and great care in the post-processing. And which does not fail to question the purpose of our society. Congratulations for this fourth place and for your participation in my challenge!

This is a photo well worked in post-processing. The sky is threatening and the tank evokes not-so-distant fears. Fortunately, it is rusted and disarmed. This photo makes me think of the madness of men. I find it both sad and necessary (as a symbol) but also full of hope in the message it sends: those times have passed and it was the last madness of men. Who can believe it? Congratulations for this beautiful 5th place with this very strong photo on a difficult subject. And thank you for participating in my challenge.

This image is absolutely exceptional. The exposure time gives the sky and the water a texture and color that goes wonderfully with the "rust" color tint of the poor abandoned boat. It is a return to the past, with great nostalgia. I imagine that you worked a lot in post-production and the result is splendid. Congratulations for this deserved second place and for having participated in my challenge!
