Sea

It was a hard contest to judge and i am glad about the amount of really nice photographs that participated. Watching the vast sea and seeing its majesty and awe is one of my favorites life-changing moments.This photo reminds me of that feeling. The size of the ground is huge,the people walking at the beach seem tiny like ants and the sea is huge and wild. What a lovely composition and what nice timing with the light beams falling right on the two people walking. The shadows ,the light and the tones compliments your photo and give a nice feeling. One thing you should watch out is the colors of your photo that need correction because they look a little bit unnatural in my opinion ,maybe its because of photo edit or your monitor needs calibrating for color correction. At the end this is a great photo and that is the reason for being number one.Thank you for your participation and congratulations.

As a windsurfer myself the excitement i feel watching this photograph can only be understandable by windsurfers only. The speed of wind is very high as you can see by the waves.The spray from the waves as the result of the wind give you the feelings of agony and excitement. Your frame is very nice with the surfer at the middle and the house at behind. You can see the "safe" of the house during that kind of weather conditions and nevertheless the man chose to go out at the vast sea. Composition,light and colors are nice and completes your photo. I know its hard to go out for shooting at this conditions and thank you for sharing this moment with us.

This photo is so confusing that i am still trying to imagine how amazing experience it must have been for you to be there. The calm water on the top with the empty and flat ground ,and on the bottom part wild sea and the rough ground.Its almost as two different photos in one. I love the tones you have there and the details. The blacks and the white balanced are very good balanced. The only thing that i miss from that photo is more sea and maybe sky.I don't know the conditions you was shooting but two more clicks at the top and at the bottom like panoramic would complete this photo.

I really love minimalism.This isn't just a photo being a great example of minimalism but also is a great photo of seeing the side of the sea in the state of absolute calmness.What a nice feeling and a great color palette you have there. This photo is one of my most favorites and thank you for sharing this with us.

What a surreal photo !The wave,the calm man,the bird flying,the black and white ,all of this make this photo feel more like a surreal painting than a photograph. The contrast fits nice and the composition is well balanced. Very nice moment you captured and well done.
