Smoke and Steam

Wow. That is the first thing I must say. I really feel this image captures what I was looking for in the competition. Smoke fills the image and the incense sticks really add to the artistic feel as some look blurred in motion while others are more still. The monotone also adds to the overall artistic feel, congratulations!

This is a photo that jumped out at me from some of the others because when you look closely the face is so sharp and detailed and the smoke/vapour begins to obscure this in a really wonderful way where you can still see the detail. Congratulations!

This image to me is just so artistic and I love it to bits! The lighting is just so perfect as it illuminates the smoke and highlights the curves of the face also. It is really beautiful, congratulations in the contest!

I find this image very interesting because it doesn't contain quite as much smoke as some other images, yet I am still drawn to it. The fact the cigarette is a bolder colour than the rest draws your eye to it and the smoke looks so delicate rising from it. Congratulations!

This image contrains a lot of smoke but this is well balanced with details on the hand and face (especially with the beard). I really love how fluid the smoke looks and I really wanted to see these beautiful shapes it can make, congratulations!
