Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The somber nature of this image is easily depicted by the woman's body language This is obvious as she hunches down on her knees while holding her hands up and so covering her face. An extra shield of protection preventing the viewer from perusing her facial expression is that of the hair falling forward. towards the floor. The usage of browns also tends to provoke a deeper, darker somber state of affairs. Congrats and well done!

Firstly ,thank you for entering my challenge. The veil semi concealing the woman's face makes us ponder the question as to why she would chose such a somber item of clothing. The splash of colour upon the woman's lips also tends to compliment the image in general .A thought provoking image which tends to hold the viewer's attention for longer than usual. Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The voodoo man has gone to great lengths in order to conceal his true persona. Not only is his face semi concealed by the light as it tends to fade into the darkness but he usage of a mask also tends to cover up his true nature The top hat, feathered boa and earing also tend to compliment the feeling of somberness'.
