Do these colonies of king penguins really still exist? What a perfect shot and the capture of a magnificent spectacle that is becoming ever rarer. Thank you so much for entering this wonderful image into the contest, showing us all that these beautiful creatures can still be found in abundance, in some places at least.

Wow, that's what I call abundance! I didn't even know that there are so many different tomatoes, never mind all jumbled together, which greatly increases the sense of abundance. They eyes (and brain) can hardly take in the sheer multitude of colours and shapes at once. The closeness of the shot, it's focus on a small area of a stall really paid off.
Thank you so much for entering this image into the contest. It is not the sheer number of birds here that's amazing, but the sharpness and focus of the photo, surely not an easy task to get a flock of birds in flight so detailed. How do they manage to fly so close without bumping constantly into each other??? Great composition.

Don't panic - no Hitchcock moment here, but an amazing moment captured very well. It must have sounded extraordinary too. You're very fortunate, and patient, to have been able to take such a shot. No counting possible. There were so many excellent images of large flocks of birds to choose from but for me, this one is unbeatable for the unbelievable abundance of it.
