Something Old & Something New

I love the thinking behind the shot with new life on old, I find it very thought provoking. The colours work well on the black background as do the brown with the orange. Great shot well done!!

Hello! I love how the lamp draws the eye straight to it. And how I was also drawn up the centre of the building. The image works really well as a B/W and contrast is great. Thanks for sharing. Well Done!

And I can only imagine that the hour glass and the wee sapling reflects this over time. A truly well though out image. Well done!!

Thank you for entering my competition and congratulations for coming in my top ten. I love the fairy tale impression this image gives to the viewer. The subtle natural light that seeps through the trees also offers something very magical. The person standing between the trees also puts into perspective just how large they are. I believe the colours and tones work well and well done for filling the brief with old trees v young person.

I can't quite decide if he was actually sitting there when you took this shot or if you have added him with post processes sing. Either way I like it. Well Done!

But what I love the most is how you have thought outside the square and created an image that is thought provoking and goes deeper than what is on the surface.
