What a great photo! There were several versions of this particular staircase submitted by different photographers. Yours stood out as the favorite to me based on color, clarity and composition. What a unique staircase! Great job and congratulations; this was a difficult contest to judge considering all the wonderful entries!

This is a great photo! I love the diagonal lines; it would not have the same impact shot straight on. And the color added by the runner's clothes really completes the image by giving the viewer's eye something contrasting to focus on. This was a very competitive contest. Great job!

This is an eye-catching photo! It is a bit of an optical illusion; the gray stairs blend so well with the gray walls that at some point the viewer's eye loses track of the stairs all together. And the single source of color adds a pleasing element to this already great composition! Well done!
