Steaming Steam Trains in Motion

Another photo which caught my eye from the start. A nice colourful image with some good exhaust from the locomotive as well, capturing the movement. I liked the autumnal colours on the trees in the foreground and background as well. Thanks for entering. A worthy top ten place.

The movement is definitely well captured in this shot with the steam of the locomotive. The further away locomotive is a bit different too rather than the closer up shots you see. The locomotive further away also means you captured more of the dramatic steam. A worthy second place. Thanks for entering

Love this photo, a classic scene presumably from the Settle/Carlisle route. Well captured with the diffiicult low light conditions too, but lighting from the carriages and locomotive adds to this. Thanks for entering this photo, a worthy top ten place.

Superb photo this one, dramatic steam/exhaust from both hard working locomotives following over the carriages behind as well. Good sharpness on the locomotives as well. My sort of photograph, well one I'd be happy with.
