Stone Arch Bridges

Congratulations on your beautiful photo. You did an excellent job of drawing the viewer's eye to the bridge by using the banks of the river on each side. The vivid colors only add to the beauty of the reflection of the bridge into the water. I created this contest in memory of my brother who was a renowned stone arch bridge photographer. You did a spectacular job in creating the brief for this contest. You did an excellent job of creating the mood of this beautiful day.

Congratulations on your beautiful photo of stone arch bridges. The composition was spot on by using the leaves in the foreground and guiding the viewer's eyes to the bridge. The beautiful fall colors only enhanced the photo even more. The relevance to the brief was present, however, I would have liked to notice mre of the details of the bridge by maybe getting closer to the subject.

I love how you captured the purpose of this old stone arch bridge. You have captured exactly what this bridge was intended for. I also raise sheep and can understand every event in this picture as it relates to the job at hand. What a beautiful capture of this special moment.

Congratulations on this beautiful photo. I love how you were able to capture the reflection so clearly that you can barely tell where the bridge stops and the reflection begins. I also love the composition of this photo centering the full circle in the center and half circles on each side. I think I would have liked it more if it had some type of visible edges on the right/left side of the photo.

There is something about this angle that draws my eye to the grandeur of this old stone arch bridge. I love how you have captured the mood of this somewhat dreary day. Your use of focus on the bridge and the blur of the castle makes the bridge become the primary focus of the picture. I see too many photos that photograph the bridge straight on with no creativity. I was glad to see that you adjusted that angle to bring forth that majestic feeling.

This was a difficult picture to pull out all of the elements. All of the items are basically in the same color palette, yet you were able to bring out subtle differences in the entire photo. I love the angle you chose for the photo and not taking the easy route of shooting the bridge head on. This added a bit of creativity to the photo. Great job!
