Perfect capture and a great example of how fresh perspectives can reveal aspects of our world in new and wonderful ways. Drones are great tools for helping us see these new perspectives. Here it has been used extremely well to capture the lines of the field. I love how the birds add a flourish of chaos to the otherwise very organised scene.
I love this interpretation of the theme. Its unique and original approach reveals a keen eye. The composition is sublime and perfectly balanced; the straight-legged jeans and the stripy backdrop are exquisitely capped with the organic-shaped peaks of the distant mountain range. The mono treatment has been nicely handled too. All in all, this is a cracking, beautiful observed shot. Well done, indeed.
Wow! This image packs a mighty, vibrant, colourful and stripy punch. Great to see a different take on the Straight-line theme. The intense colour harmonies bouncing around this frame are simply stunning, while the element of storytelling that underpins the tableux is intriguing, fun and curious. Good work!
Simplicity, symmetry and repetition play a hand in this bold and confident minimal landscape. At first glance, it feels like a monochromatic image, but there is a hint of colour, just evident in the lights; this adds a lovely nuance. The tree breaking up the lines is the icing on the cake. Good work!

The simplicity of the composition is lovely. It might violate some of the 'conventional rules' of design, but for me, that is its strength. The black-and-white conversion has been sensitively handled; the quality is sublime, too, not bad for an old iPhone, and shows that being able to look, see, and notice can be more important than using fancy kit. Good work!

Unless you live inside a ballpool, you may struggle to find excuses for not entering this one. Straight lines are everywhere, but have you done a good job of using them in your photography? Is your composition strong? Your leading line doing a good job of leading? Your parallel lines without parallel? Some subjects scream out for a photowalk, or a trip to a certain building you’ve wanted to shoot, or an afternoon poised over a table getting a still life composition just right. This is probably one of them.
