Stripes

By looking at this image, I am able to feel the warmth of the sunshine on my skin, smell the salty sea air and hear the gleeful sounds of children playing on a slow summer afternoon. A shot that can convey so much to the viewer is undoubtedly a good shot. In addition, the concept of 'Stripes' is here explored in a way that is original compared to other entries, all in all making this photograph one deserving of praise. Well done!

I love this shot's composition, with the stripes positioned diagonally across, and the tractor falling right in the centre of the frame. The high up point of view, visually interesting in itself, makes the shot appear tidy and pleasingly graphic. The white birds, captured both still and in flight, are the perfect final touch, adding interest and movement to the image. A great shot, well done!

I liked this shot from the moment I saw it, and immediately stopped scrolling to view it at a larger resolution. Once I read the description and realised what exactly it was I was looking at, however, I was truly amazed. I like the slightly unusual composition, with so little ground at the bottom and so much of the stripy sand dunes above. It makes the image more unique, whilst the black and white toning enhances its dramatic visual impact. A fantastic shot, well done!
