Thank you all for your participation to this contest. A lamppost is defined as a lamp on a post or pole. I was a little stricter this time. Street lights on houses were left aside. I was mostly looking for a lamppost in a theatre scenario. This lamppost caught my attention. It emanates endurance, dedication, duty, commitment and loyalty. This lamppost to light the paths and keep us safe seems unaffected by the harsh winder conditions. It still manages to look elegant and stoic.
When scrolling down through the top 10s, we on each tableau can image a story that comes with it that started before the image and seems to continue thereafter. All we got is a snippet of the story line where the lamppost was not just a extra but had a role as a main character.

You can show just one lamppost or more than one, but I am looking mostly to see the lampposts within a strong environmental context, such as the isolated lamppost in the woods in The Chronicles of Narnia movie.
