Congratulations on 1st place in this contest it is well deserved. The composition you have chosen to photograph the house between the rocks at Plougrescant is superb and you have used a good range of colour and tones when it came to the post production, as you have brung out the colour and detail in the rocks which is superb. If I was working at a local tourism company I would be asking to use this Image on websites and in print as it is a great Image of an iconic Breton landmark and truly shows how wonderful the region of Bretagne is.

In this contest I would like to see your best photos of the region of Brittany/Bretagne in northwest France. The region is home to some magnificent coastlines and pretty towns full of vibrant street markets and is a region known for its produce and seafood, giving plenty of things to see and photograph when visiting. Images can be either in colour or black and white. All photos must have been taken in the region of Brittany.
This is a superb Image of the Kermorvan Lighthouse in Brittany. I really like the black and white edit to give the Image an eerie feel and the look of this Image is like a gulf of mist is slowly creeping up towards the lighthouse. A superb Image to be proud of and if I could rate more top 10s then this Image would be one of them but unfortunately I can’t so it has to be a highly commended award for this contest. Well done on the work and the entry.
