The Silk Road Region of Central Asia

Another lovely shot from Samarkand caught without to many people. The photografer manager to get some nice reflections in the Blue light. As allways it is a bit tricky with big buildings. The base of the right madrasa is two meters higher than the left one witch is hard to see

I like how the photografer captured the cupola emerging from the ”sanddunes” and the woman looking out into no mans land. The green and the turqoise actually work together with the beige sand and rock. This is soo Central-Asia in my mind

The mountains and the tough roads are captured here. Nice, fresh green roadsides and the sienna coloured road complemented with Blue skies with some dramatic clouds. Photos like this brings me back to the highlands in Kyrgyzstan and Tadzjikistan, Lovely.

Very nice with the light at nighttime. It is soo photogenic this square in Buchara. The way the tower is lit up is amazing. The deep purple light from the right makes a very good backdrop in contrast to the tower

The Registan at night is so beautiful and very nice with few people. The light at this time is fantastic. The way you captured all the details in the facade is amazing. NeXT time in Samarkand I Will spend more time at Registan
