It’s thought that the wheel was invented during the many technological advances of the early Bronze age. Our use of the wheel (alongside – crucially – the axle) has sustained so prominently through the millennia it’s become arguably the most vital mechanical component of human transportation. But it’s not just travel that the wheel has aided – think of its countless other uses, such as a potters wheel, the mechanics in an analogue watch, desk and ceiling fans, tape reels, a game of roulette, a means to exercise hamsters… In this LIMITED ENTRIES contest, which will close on 300 submissions, show us your best photos of wheels.
