Travel

I chose this as the winner, as it perfectly links culture with the theme of travel through a spectacular arrangement of colour; with monks lighting lanterns, a truly unique image. The reflection in the water below is perfect and balance between the dark sky, and the bright colour.

I adore this image of two boys on a boat. The use of colour is perfect and very vibrant, creating an extremely positive, cultured tone. The smiling faces are extremely warming and the key focus with slight blur on the background is a brilliant contrast

I love the simplicity of this photo. The determination in the boys eyes clearly shows the hardship it can sometimes be to travel and you can really see this from his dishevelled clothes and make-shift boat which he is padelling, very well done.

I love the simplicity of the background of this photograph as it sets up the perfect image. The simple colours of the camels and donkeys make it very unique and the shiny reflection in the sand is perfect. Brilliant link to travel and culture.

The purple in this is a perfect contrast to the black and white colours in the building, a classic evening shot beautifully represented. Perfect exposure brings out the unique sunset with the darkened sky and the bright lights below in the city

Loved the initial image with the unique position of the three giraffes, although with higher exposure and maybe a filter, you could bring out the colours a bit more, especially as the background is quite bland. Lovely start though this could be really impressive.
