When I saw this photo, I knew the photographer must have read the competition briefing, because its pretty much on point. I gave this shot a 3rd place for a couple reasons; I love the emotion, the bokeh and the composition of the photographer. Looking at this photo reminds me why I love traveling so much. To see different culture and show other people the beauty of it. Chad would not be the first country to pop up in my mind if I want to travel somewhere in Africa, but its definitely on the list now! So thats a job well done by the photographer. Congrats with your 3rd place

When I saw this photo I was flabbergasted. Capturing three cranes in these movements of elegance is just formidable. The photographer must have waited a while to get a shot like this. I dont believe in lucky shots. Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity, and thats what the photographer has shown! Overall a very well deserved 2nd place. Bravo.

When I started ranking the photos, this one immediately caught my eye. The serene atmosphere in combination with the silhouette of this incredible place is flawless. After reading what the photographer did to be able to get this shot, it sounded very familiar. I have been to a spot multiple times to get the ideal light, and YES patience does pay off. I could easily see this shot framed on a wall, my congrats to the very capable photographer with your 1st place! A photograph exactly in line with the brief! And it is very nice to have such an amazing story that goes with the photo, it shows that you are willing to put in the effort! Congrats again!

The photographer went for a capture into the sun, although shooting into direct sunlight he retained color and sharpness into his subject; the car. Somehow this photo catches my eye, and I think its the combination of beautiful soft flare of the morning sun and the vintage look of the car in the alley. Again a good example of planning, great to see your plan work out with this photo! The result is very clean and wonderful indeed, a well deserved 5th place!

Another great example of a travel photo showing vibrant, culture, people and detail. I guess looking for an hour to this photo wont tire me, there is so much detail and things happening. However its all in a very organised and in a very symmetrical way. This makes it a very easy on the eye photo, when I think of travel this is something that would like to see. I love the angle which the photographer chose for this photo. Great job photographer and congratulations witht this beautiful piece of art!
