A beautifully peaceful scene. The viewers eyes are first drawn to the iconic and nearly silhouetted baobab trees rising into the misty morning air. Then the attention moves down to the Malagasy figures standing on the road. The whole scene then comes together with the sense of the trees themselves posing with the humans, connecting the locals with their landscape. A wonderful representation of travel with the otherworldly feel of the upside down trees in the fog in harmony with the people of the country. Well done!

An excellent display of getting the right shot and handling the pixels correctly in post processing. The tones and lighting are well balanced throughout the image with highlights drawing the eye from sunlight to church and then to the distant mountains. My only distraction is the dust spots above the sun rays. Great work!

I love the concept of the image you're going for here. The silhouettes work wonderfully with the fiery red sky. I feel the execution of the moon could have been done a little better. The image would work well without the moon or even try it smaller, just enough to encompass the camels and riders. It's still a very captivating image!

The lighting and composition work great here. There seems to be so many stories to be told by the characters in the windows and their expressions. Cheerful, thoughtful, curious, hopeless, protective and more. A triptych in one image with lots of detail and colour. A great representation of travel, both literally and exploratorily.

With so many photos of the Taj Mahal, it's the little differences that set some photos out from the rest. The colour palette, the atmospheric haze and the single bird in the sky draw my attention to this image. As well as the well considered symmetry and gentle glow on the structure itself. My suggestions to potentially elevate this image would be simply removing the chromatic aberration prominent on the edge of the towers and trees. And toning down the red saturation slightly, as evident in the skin tones and jackets of the people. Still a highly commended image and a great photo!

Reflections are a great way to create striking images. What sets one reflection shot out from another is the extra details. Finding a surface other than a body of water like a lake or even puddle can add interesting textures to the reflected image. The glowing light feels amplified in the upside down building and adds to the overall magical atmosphere of the photo.

Without the right composition, an image starts to fall apart. When faced with the mundane of clear blue sky, it takes a clever approach to a photo to make it stand out. It's so simple, but a straight shot of this tower would be fine to show what the tower is, but not enough to stand out. Using the maximum dimension of the frame in this way is exactly how to make a seemingly ordinary photo something extraordinary. Great work!

On our travels we see many incredible things, photographing the great natural and man-made wonders, as well as the smaller places and moments of beauty that help shape us and make our travels so memorable. We’re sharing them all here as we explore this wonderful world of ours together.

Great composition and positioning of elements with a beautifully curved lead in line. I really like how the curve of the dune leads past the silhouetted camel and continues on into the sun. While the light and the camel are the main features, there is still more to explore with the distant dunes and more camels, as well as little tufts of grass. An enticing representation of travel, well done!

Wonderful framing and spectacular light. A challenging scene to balance the exposure of the sky and the shadowy town. A hero shot of the Matterhorn that shows why Zermatt is a place to add to the bucket list! The colour palette is gorgeous too. You've done a great job with this well considered and well executed photograph.

A stunning panorama of Lake Bled with dreaming lighting and reflections. A wonderfully calming blue scene accented with a scattering of warm yellow light, which helps to draw attention to the main feature of the image. Travel photos should make people want to visit the location depicted in the shot and this one would make anyone want to see Slovenia!

What draws me to this image is the shapes and colour palette. A good photo should work well when seen as small as a thumbnail and at full resolution, and this shot achieves that. A popular viewpoint of St Paul's, but a stand out shot with a bright and almost pastel feel.

A great abstract image with a calming colour palette. The unique situation gives the photo a surreal dreamlike feel, captivating the viewers imagination. Subtle reflections at the top don't quite give away the location but can be attributed to archways at St Mark's square. You have a great eye to see the abstract beauty in this scene without showing a blunt representation of what's going on by including the whole view.

I love the colours in the shot! The pop of red contrasts beautifully with the pale blue and patch of green. Looking at this image as blocks of colours and shapes creates a simplistic abstract painting. Combining this with the fine details makes an intriguing and vibrant sense of place. Wonderful use of colour and composition!
