A lovely shot, showing off the details of these apricot blossoms to their full advantage. The black, irregular framing, as if looking through a gap or hole, adds a dramatic element to the image. I so wish that we could grow apricots here in our orchard in the UK.

We have a tree just like this and the blossoms are just stunning, esp. if you look at them closely. The black background, together with perfect lighting, is very effective in focusing the eye on the actual blossoms. Nothing distracting. It has taken me several years on photocrowd to appreciate the impact of using a black background, as I hated it for being not natural
