It wasn't until I looked at this image more closely that I noticed the road sign. I doesn't deter from the fact that this is a superb photograph, in fact is adds an element of interest that makes the viewer look more intently to realise that there is actually a road hidden in the image is in my opinion really clever.
I would have been very tempted to edit the sign out, but actually I think adds an element of interest that makes you look and think.
The monochrome conversion of this image works beautifully well with this mystical woodland scene.
The misty light pushing through he trees lighting the foreground really caught my eye. My only criticism is that the trees on the left are a slight distraction. A crop from the left ensuring the image has a frame would finish this image off perfectly.
There's something very appealing about an upward view of tall trees. The reason why I like this image so much is because the photographer has captured the trees in a lovely soft light that has created some nice shadow and enhances the colours in the trees.
What makes it work so well is the backdrop of the lovely blue sky which compliments the colours in this image. Well done!
Simplicity is key here with this lovely capture. The lead in Iines draw you to the main focus and the shadows in the landscape keep this photo minimal but add the perfect amount of detail. Less is definitely more.
My only criticism is that I feel the tree needs more contrast so it stands out better against the soft nature and light of the landscape.
There's something ethereal and magical about a misty woodland image. This image is a perfect example of just that! I love how the photographer has used the acute angle of the trees to create this enchanting scene and the tones compliment the scene giving the image a dreamy feel. Congratulations!!

Trees put on a real display at this time of year, as the leaves brown and fall, and reveal the skeletons beneath. But all year round they have a story to tell. We’re becoming ever more aware of their crucial role in maintaining the health of the planet, and they also just happen to be beautiful, varied, and a joy to photograph. Any images of trees are welcome, from studies of leaves and bark, to wide, tree-dotted vistas.
