Unusual Reflections

Loved how this has captured a postcard scenery as part of the mirror view, providing that magic moment feeling. The once in a lifetime moment opportunity where nature and wildlife provided such a wonderful moment. Very atmospheric. The leading line with the road also gives you an idea of where you were going or coming from and makes us want to go on that journey too. Well done.

This photo is my winner as it had that definite 'wow' factor. Even though the reflection is very limited it is the composition and moodiness of this photo that makes me drawn to it. The moody clouds with the perspective at ground level makes the snap very powerful. Congrats on being my winner.

The inclusion of the outer window bricks has the desired capturing of a moment in a very abstract way. Loved how the reflection creates the distortion that delivers an abstract view. The colours all work well together. Great capture, well done.

The drama provided by the black background provides the contrast that highlights the reflection. The capture has that impact that makes you want to look at each detail. The capture of the 2 badgers provide a dual reflection affect too. Well done.

Symmetry of fine lines and the arches make this capture very intriguing. Love the simplicity of the light that draws attention only to the reflective symmetry. Not sure of if it was possible, but if there was an opportunity to get the reflection to be the same size as the subject this would have been on another level. Lovely picture. Great work.

This capture made my Top 10 as the macro imagery has that subtle reflective mood. Like the lines in the top 3rd as well as the middle and the insect as well. Like how the photographer has not done post production, as if had it would not had looked as natural as it is. I prefer the capture of nature as opposed to staged photography, just my preference.

This pic drew my attention with the colour selective technique used to highlight the reflection. With a very well known subject, it jumps out and you are definitely drawn to the striking colours. Enjoyed the composition and not cropping to centralise the subject, as it gives the correct impression of looking up towards the pisa. Cleverly done.

Impactful with the simplicity of colour. Boring repetitive subject in any other occasion, but in this instance very dramatic and the reflection being so precise makes this pic one of my favourites. Well done on getting a still and foggy day.

For someone that does not see squirrels this pic with the vibrancy of the background contrasting with the squirrel caught my eye and impressed me greatly. Love the composition with the Squirrel looking out to the right and having more landscape captured to the right. Fabulous capture, well done.

Reflections via an animals eye impresses me every time. I have captured some of these using my pets, but not as sharp and clear as this. The falcon draws your attention first and then the reflection, and with the black background it is very dramatic. Well done.
