Urban Nature

Almost unreal, this excellent capture of the two owls interacting in an abstract urban environment. The way they are fighting, or maybe mating, who knows, is very spectacular. The lines of the blurred buildings in the background emphasize the action of the owls, great work.

I hadn’t thought of this one, very well seen. The grave stones, representing death, almost covered with lichen. A wonderful contrast and a good example of nature thriving in an urban environment. A good sign as well as I have heard , because lichen grows best in clean air.

Congratulations on winning my Contest. Your image stood out because of the hard contrast between the Porsche in the grey car park with the colorful fox on top of it. A spot on example of the kind of photo I was hoping, and looking for. A beautiful proof of how wildlife is taking its place in our urban space.

Your image is a wonderful juxtaposition, with the tree coming through the corrugated wall, showing the important place nature has in our urban areas. We all need and cherish the green, the natural, the rest and peace giving natural element. In this case a tree, shouting for attention, beautiful.
