What a cracking shot! While the formal approach to the composition—using the structure of the bridge—works is a treat, it's the perfect timing of the waterskier in the foreground that makes this image shine. It's a perfect decisive moment that adds an unusual but delightful element to what would have already been a good image.

Excellent use of lines, especially the verticles, to create a formal and controlled, stong and dynamic composition. The artful handling of the black-and-white tonality is excellent, too. The lines skillfully lead to light in the background making an engaging image.

The long, nearly 4 minutes exposure has revealed London with a surreal, dreamlike vibe. Working with long exposures has many challenges, and it's not as easy as it looks (and it doesn't even look easy), so you've done an excellent job here. The clouds and water have been skillfully controlled and beautifully rendered.

There were a lot of images from Venice in this theme, so I was looking for an original take on this much-photographed location. This image jumped out at me with its strong use of lines and compressed perspective. along with the lovely reflections and distant gondola in the light, making a great focal point.

What a wonderful photograph. The slightly distorted reflections of the buildings in the canal add a lovely sense of symmetry. The formal, balanced, harmonious composition is perfect, while the bold, bright colour palette is the icing on the cake. Good work!

This is an amazing image. Working underwater (obviously) adds multiple layers of the technical challenge; the light streaming into the shot, the colour palette, and the composition have all been expertly realised. However, the commentary of the upended and disregarded pram, seemingly growing like an underwater plant, makes this image a winner.

This beautiful composition has a compelling sense of narrative. It has a quiet, cinematic vibe that asks so many questions. The shirtless protagonist sitting on a bench creates a perfect springboard from which myriad potential stories can evolve. Excellent work. Keep it up!

I love this image. It eloquently speaks to our relationship with the waterways (in the UK), a subject of great importance as they become increasingly polluted. This image skillfully tells this story and serves as a poignant reminder. Great work, keep it up. I would love to see more, maybe a series?

Despite the urban, concrete vibe, this engaging image is very peaceful and meditative. The coppery blue hues and ethereal handling of the tones contribute to this. The sense of depth and formal composition all work well. This is a lovely image. Good work!

Loaded with mood and drama, this atmospheric image feels rich with the ingredients of a mysterious novel. The subtle colour palette and artfully handled tonality play to this narrative well, creating an engaging and compelling image. Good work. Keep it up.

At their best, urban rivers and waterways provide a welcome, natural respite from the endless bricks, concrete and glass of our towns and cities. Tree-lined arteries to stroll along, escape the noise, and spot some waterbirds. At their worst they have been built over, and only make occasional appearances, often to be decorated with a shopping trolley and other refuse. Urban waterways can offer grand photographic opportunities, as well as smaller studies of the life of a river, and how we currently choose to interact with them.

I love the experimental nature of this image. Layering three images together to add texture and colour is inspired, creating an effect that artfully alludes to the vibe of the old masters—a fitting technique to use in this case. Good work.

I love this gritty urban depiction of the waterways. The black-and-white treatment suits the subject perfectly and adds to the mood. The handling of the tones is spot on. I also like the slightly deadpan title "Under the A329M" which also speaks to the mood of the photo. Good work.

I'm not exactly sure what the story is here (captions and titles can help with this), but I assume it is an observation about homelessness and the bridge is being used as another layer of shelter for these tents. Either way, it's well seen and composed photo.

This is an excellent version of this well-photographed scene. The delicate handling of the tones and use of a lighter tonal range work well and reveal the intricate detail of the stonework. The slow exposure has smoothed the water, simplifying the composition and adding to the cool vibe.

I love the use of multiple exposure (I'm assuming) techniques to create an impressionistic painterly feel. Sometimes, when used indiscriminately, these techniques can be an affectation, but here, their use exquisitely captures the magic of Venice at twilight. Good work.
