What a cracking shot! While the formal approach to the composition—using the structure of the bridge—works is a treat, it's the perfect timing of the waterskier in the foreground that makes this image shine. It's a perfect decisive moment that adds an unusual but delightful element to what would have already been a good image.
The long, nearly 4 minutes exposure has revealed London with a surreal, dreamlike vibe. Working with long exposures has many challenges, and it's not as easy as it looks (and it doesn't even look easy), so you've done an excellent job here. The clouds and water have been skillfully controlled and beautifully rendered.
There were a lot of images from Venice in this theme, so I was looking for an original take on this much-photographed location. This image jumped out at me with its strong use of lines and compressed perspective. along with the lovely reflections and distant gondola in the light, making a great focal point.
This is an amazing image. Working underwater (obviously) adds multiple layers of the technical challenge; the light streaming into the shot, the colour palette, and the composition have all been expertly realised. However, the commentary of the upended and disregarded pram, seemingly growing like an underwater plant, makes this image a winner.

At their best, urban rivers and waterways provide a welcome, natural respite from the endless bricks, concrete and glass of our towns and cities. Tree-lined arteries to stroll along, escape the noise, and spot some waterbirds. At their worst they have been built over, and only make occasional appearances, often to be decorated with a shopping trolley and other refuse. Urban waterways can offer grand photographic opportunities, as well as smaller studies of the life of a river, and how we currently choose to interact with them.
