This is great observation and the longer you look at this the more it comes alive with a dancing character, much like a classical painting. There is something magical about this and a well taken photo with great colours and sharpness

This tree looks to be screaming out in agony and is a perfect weird tree in the forest. The composition is great and I like the vibrant colours much more than the B&W version that was also entered. I can feel it's pain.

This is great and again unnerving. It really looks like the tree is running away and is some strange alien or giant insect. This is just the sort of weird tree I wanted to see in this competition.

This is a great photo where the trees take on characters and a story is being told like in a classic painting. It could be an execution, but the photo makes you stop and stare and imagine and you become absorbed in the moment- not many photos do that and are mostly quickly flicked past

A great photo, this tree really looks like it is walking and that they are arguing. I would love to see these strange trees in the forest. There's lots going on and they are great characters. Nice subtle colours as well

This is a great photo. The fog and B&W conversion with these strange trees makes you question if you would want to walk down this footpath alone. The trees individually are not so weird but when combined in this setting make for an unnerving atmosphere.

This was well spotted and works very well in B&W. I love the single sinister tree amongst many that is keeping watch with it's beady eye and it's position in the composition. It leaves a slightly unnerving feeling when looking at this photo- would you dare walk through these trees?.

This is exactly the sort of unique weird and wonderful tree in the forest that I was hoping to discover in this competition. It looks very tortured and troubled and would be very disturbing to walk past on a hike. I like how it is a different colour and character to the regimented trees around it and that it seems to be crying out in agony. Great photo and well spotted.

This is great, I really do see a sort of dragon or strange beast emerging from a forest of regular trees and is just what I was hoping to see in this competition. Great observation and great composition, colours and sharpness in the photo
