Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. I have no idea how many of these are creeping around but I hope not too many! I am drawn to it in a strange way, despite its obvious ugliness; it definitely deserves an award!

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. The image is relevant to the brief & I think that rats would be a popular choice for sending into space! I would not have guessed that it had been shot through a window

The image definitely has impact; the tonal range is good; the textures are varied & work well together.

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. There is no doubt that you have taken an original approach to this contest, and whilst I agree with the message, I do not think I can send all those photographers into space!

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. It is a pity that you have not given this image a title & that the EXIF data is missing. However, I do quite like this little insect! The detail is good, especially on the wings; a well taken macro image.

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. I find this image rather sad & by that, I mean the message behind it. Such a beautiful bird, but surrounded by polluted water & rubbish. I've chosen it because of its emotive impact. Well spotted.

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. When I created the contest, I did not think about the creepy insects that would be submitted! I have, however, managed to peruse them all I am glad, however, that this image just shows the legs! I know they are relatively speedy creatures, so well done.

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. When I created the contest, I did not envisage that so many "creepy" insects would be submitted! I have, however, managed to peruse them all. The detail on this macro image is excellent & a worthy top 10 winner!

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. When I created the contest, I did not imagine there would be a large number of insect images submitted! I have, however, managed to peruse them all. The detail is good & the colours are spot on. You make the common fly almost look attractive. Well captured.

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. But, would you really send him into space? Especially after he has made the effort to dance on your doorstep! Despite using the wrong lens, the image still falls within the brief, and manages to tell us a story. I think he should remain on earth!

Please submit your images of what or who you would send into space. For those of you in the UK, this would be a similar concept to the television programme "Room 101". Please try to submit a new image, or if not, at least edit the title/description to fit the contest. Also, please add your reason behind this choice. Colour, black and white, sepia - whatever you want, but no composite images. Have fun!

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. I think these people are only grumpy because it's raining! Isn't the woman on the right smiling? A simple street image, that works well in black & white.

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. At least this image is not as gruesome as some of the other insect related ones (gastropod, I know!).

Having the two snails together makes for a more interesting shot, than if it were just a lone snail; also, it has a touch of humour about it. Textures and tones work well.

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. If you send your friend into space, it means she will be banished forever! I like the eye, as it's a little different from the majority of the other images entered. Your comment about the stars & her eyes expose you as a true romantic!

Thank you for entering the "What or who would you send into space?" contest. Although you have entitled the image "Mr Fugly", I actually find this creature rather appealing! The colours seem very natural & not overly saturated & I like the animal's skin texture. The subject is well placed in the frame.; perhaps you could have cropped the left & top edges a little more, but that's just my opinion.
