Wild Animals

This image was beautifully captured - I love how the photographer was able to catch such striking detail in this Jaguar. The subject is clearly in focus - a very nice technique has been used to blur the background and have the subject remain purely in the foreground so as to emphasize the subject. well done!

The contrasting colours in this image from the flora in the foreground, the deer and the mountains in the background are enchanting - this looks like an image out of a fairytale. Very well captured by the photographer. In my opinion, there are snow spots in the mountains in the background that seem to melt into the rest of the image, I would crop that section out of the image, however, very well done!

This a great shot of a hummingbird captured at the perfect moment - the photographer has created the illusion and interpretation of the flower “becoming” the bird’s beak as it disappears. The colours that pop and stand out in this image is excellent and the subject stands out wonderfully against the light background. Good job!

This image is quite enchanting - I love the warm colours that have been emphasized in this shot. There is great detail in this shot and it was very well captured. The contrasting greens and browns really add depth to the entire image!

This image is truly a story within itself - a dynamic duo between a bee and a snake that makes for a very captivating image. Well done to the photographer here for being able to capture this spectacular moment between this pair.

I love the crab in this image - the lovely reds that pull through in the eyes and limbs is a wonderful contrast to the image. The rocky terrain in the background adds depth to the entire image and you have done a great job in ensuring the crab does not “drown” in the background.

This is a lovely image of a polar bear purposefully staring off and contemplating the scent in the air. The photographer has done a great job in creating an all-round thought provoking shot with all the empty space and the focal point specifically on the bear. Well done!

The photographer did a very good job with isolating this pair of Gannets. The angle of the image depicting a cuddling pair gives the viewer a sense of warmth. I particularly love how the contrasting whites still clearly display the subjects in detail and remain in the foreground - exceptional!

I have always been a huge fan of birds in flight - this image is wonderfully done. I love the colours that pop here. In my opinion, Considering this is an action shot - I feel as though the image loses depth slightly when the wings are not in focus as this is the part of the bird that is in motion. However - very well captured and an all-round beautiful image.
