Stunning is my first word for this image. At first and for ages I saw a pine cone on the floor of this image. After a while I realised that it was in actual fact two brilliantly blended in birds. The image is beautifully toned and coloured, sharp and very well composed. So well done for an image with not one but two stunningly well blended in birds.

This is a cracking image. I love the colours and tones of the image which is pin sharp and beautifully composed. I love how the animal is so well blended in despite being a large animal. So well done for a fantastic image.

Crikey, this is a great image. The entire image is pin sharp throughout, has beautiful tones and contrast and is composed nicely too. The subtle mottled sandy colour of the snake enables it to hide and blend in excellently as it mimics the colours and tones of the sand 100%. I can see how predators find it hard to catch their prey when they can blend in so well like this snake. Well done for a great image.

This is a great image. I had to convince my Dad who is a bird watcher that their is a bird brilliantly blended into the rocks. Actually I had to convince myself too. This is a very well composed, sharp image which conceals a bird beautifully well. So well done.

For this contest I am looking for your colour photos of wild animals blending into their natural surroundings. Many wild animals use camouflage to blend into their surroundings to survive, as it enables them to hide from their predators. The species of wild animal can be any you choose. No domestic or zoo animals, but animals in national parks can be included. No black and white or toned images please, only colour.
