Wild Berries Growing on Trees and Bushes

I really wanted to have some blackberries in my top ten. This was the best of many blackberry photos because of the clarity of the image and the overall composition. There is a really good balance of ripe and unripe berries. The shallow depth of field gives a soft background which adds to the beauty of the shot.

I love the shallow depth of field and the beautiful bokeh effect in the background. The vibrant orange berries are beautifully placed towards the bottom of the shot. The light both outlines the berries and shines through the leaves with adds to the overall effect. Great photo!

I love the composition of this shot and the way that the unripe blackberries are the main focus of the image. The delicate green background enhances the image as it accentuates the vibrant green of the berries and cuts out any distractions. The diagonal composition is also effective. A beautiful photo - well done!

This close up of unripe blueberries is beautifully taken. The berries are all in focus with a lovely use of light and shadow. The dabbled colour of the green berries along with the wavy detail draws in the viewer's attention. The leaf adds to the composition along with the soft background. An excellent shot - well done!

I was drawn to this shot immediately by the beautiful vibrant colours. The background and the leaves create a lovely combination of greens, reds and yellows. The bright red berries are the clear focus of the shot. While they are small berries they dominate the shot and draw the eye in. Well done!
