Wild Deer

I particularly like the superb composition of this photograph which, with the appropriate depth of field and the really good, sharp focus concentrates your attention on the subject. In my opinion the overall effect makes the photo look almost like a painting.

Thank you for submitting this entry into my Contest. The eye is drawn to the deer because of the the good overall composition of the shot which, with the sharp focus on the subject complimented by the depth of field and excellent lighting makes this, in my view, one of the top ten best photographs

I like the way the stag has been depicted which, in my opinion, makes the photo much more interesting and instantly caught my attention. The title is clever

I find the grasses to the left of the photo to be a little distracting but in my opinion the overall effect of the crop works really well and it is still a nice sharp image with good composition. I like the angle of the shot which I think perfectly captures the moment and also the title

In my opinion the tree stump is a bit of a distraction but nevertheless this photo instantly caught my attention due to the excellent composition and the effect of the lighting is really good. The focus is excellent and timing of the shot is perfect with good use of the depth of field which suits the photograph well

I was unsure about the background colour as in my opinion it blend a little with the deer. However, I particularly like the depth of field and the sharp focus concentrates your attention on the subject. The lighting is also good.

Thank you for submitting this entry into my Contest. I did wonder if the two deer on the right were needed and whether the photograph would improve if they were 'taken out'? The focus, depth of field and lighting are excellent and you get the impression of the cold just by looking at this photo.

In my view the right antler would have been better if it was in the frame but overall I like the composition of this photograph which, with the appropriate depth of field and the really good, sharp focus concentrates your attention on the subjects.

This stood out immediately as it is such a well composed photograph with the depth of field complimenting the point of focus on the three deer. The early morning light is used well and you have captured the moment perfectly
