**Open to photographers with a ranking outside the top 1000. There are two other 'Wildlife' contests currently open to other ranks. Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** Wildlife photography not only relies on camera skills but also a certain degree of field craft knowledge. Some animals are difficult to approach meaning an awareness of their behaviour is needed in order to find them, predict their movements and successfully photograph them. Use your learning to anticipate interesting situations and place yourself where you need to.
