Winter Landscapes with Snow or Ice

I find this image very appealing. The bench makes me think that this is a place where people come and like to visit in Spring, Summer, perhaps even Autumn. But now it's desolate, in the grip of Winter, snow and cold. I like it that I can still see details in the snow. The low clouds and the lack of sharpness in the trees in the background contribute to the atmosphere you were able to create for the viewer. Very well done and congrats!

This image inspires calmness and tranquility. A chilly atmosphere in what looks like an inhospitable place, and yet, so beautiful. Despite all the loneliness that transpires from this image, the lazy sun through the misty air brings us hope for a new day. Congratulations on 2 place!

A magnificent image! Despite the warm sky colors, you can perceive the chilly air and you feel for the animals out there in the cold. I would have preferred the sun to be a little less clipped, but in it's entirety it's really a worthy image. Well done and congrats!
