Witches

Well done for making my top 10! Great use of cold blue light alongside the warm orange light. I think for me this was my favourite aspect of the photograph that got you in my top 10. I also love the great use of props in the photo!

Congratulations on being my 1st place winner. This photograph was easily chosen as my first place as it is shot so well. The lighting is great and I love the warm glow on their faces against the cold background. Plus I love everything going on in the image as it all really is witchy! Something about this kind of reminds me of Sabrina the Teenage witch, which was a brilliant TV show about witches I used to love to watch. So thank you for creating that nostalgic feeling for me with your photography.

This is a great image of a picture of a witch. I find it very eye catching. There is one thing that I would of changed myself if I was taking this image and that is to not cut out the top of the arch way of the door. But otherwise its a great image!

This was so close to getting into my top 10. I love the light, and the background and the brilliant use of depth of field which really makes your subject stand out. The one thing that I wasn't keen on was your thin crop. Maybe you chose to do it as there was something you didn't want in the frame, or it may just be personal choice. But my preference is a wider frame to the image. But otherwise its a brilliant image and well done on the highly commended.

Well done for such a good image of a decorative witch. You have exposed the image really well and I like the shadow of the broomstick on the wall. I also like your composition and im pleased about the amount of witch you got in the image and that you didn't cut her hand out of the shot. Congratulations for making my top 10.

This is such a great idea and a great way to photograph witch figurines. I find it Very creative which is what got it a highly commended. My only criticism is that the composition is off. For me I would of liked to have seen it more composed to the middle. The middle witch isnt in the middle and there seems to be more space to one side than the other. If they were spaced out better then for me this would have made an even better image. But still, well done for a great idea!

I found it really difficult to find witch decorations that I wanted in my top 10. But your image made it. I chose this image because of its good use of depth of field and also composition. I also love the purple wall matching her purple cape, the work well together. Well done!
