Woolly things (no animals)

Thank you for entering the “Woolly things” contest. Yes indeed, no real animals to be entered so this little animal is acceptable. A nice simple image, no clutter, neutral colours and a good level of woolly detail. If I had taken this, I probably would have cropped the left side or moved him to the right more, in order to have avoided the join in wallpaper, but that’s just my opinion. Well done on the knitting by the way 👍

Thank you for entering the “Woolly things” contest. Balls of wool were quite a popular subject, but the reason I like this image, is it because it also contains the finished products. Not only that, but by including the cup of tea, it more or less becomes a story. The colours work well together and the pattern on the table adds texture. A good composition and well presented image.

Thank you for entering the “Woolly things” contest. Obviously the subject matter attracted a number of images containing balls of wool, however, this one is my favourite. It stood out as soon as I started perusing the entries, probably due to its strong contrasting colours. Filling the frame has worked well, therefore leaving no meaningless vacant space. The lighting shows off the texture and enhances the overall image. A winner!
