Thank you for entering my contest. This photo is striking!! I love how you captured the 5 horses abreast working hard to work the field, and the happy person behind them concentrating on working them. The sky is nice too. The only thing that I would change is the painted-y on canvas look of the picture. Otherwise it is great enough for 5th place!!
Thank you for entering my contest!! In this contest I wanted to capture the very essence of a working horse, my main goal was the harness horse being used for hard work. I feel like this photo is exactly what I was looking for. I love the fact that it is in Black and White, but everything else about it is amazing. The focus and sharpness are spectacular, the angle, the lighting, the horse is alert and seems to be enjoying the work. Thank you for such a wonderful entry!!

Thank you for entering my contest. This photo is very beautiful. The landscape is what caught my attention right away. The plowed fields, and the trees in fields in the far background, as well as some unique clouds are very nice. The pair of hitched horses working in the middle is beautiful, and the b/w makes it much better here.

Thank you for entering my contest. This is a very pretty photo. I would darken it a bit, because it is slightly too bright, but it is wonderful enough for 9th place! I love the steamy breath of the horse, as it works in the woods to haul logs or whatever it is doing. The horse itself is very pretty. The b/w tone is my favorite for the photos too.

Thank you for entering my contest. This photo caught my eye at once. I love how you captured it!! The horses are at the perfect angle, on top of a hill, the landscape is just right, and the dog on the left is a very nice touch. The snowflakes coming down and the snow that the horses feet are kicking up is amazing.
Thank you for entering my contest. Normally for this contest I liked b/w pictures more but this one was very striking to me. I love how the colors are rich and powerful, and the action in this photo is amazing. A prime picture of tie-down roping and the sharpness and focus of this photo are spectacular.
