Young Animals

i feel i had to give this 3rd plce image a mention the way the goldfish is looking at the kitten, then i find out the image was taken with a nonmetered medium format film camera in the low light in which the image was taken is no easy task as anyone who as used film cameras will know, i just love the idea behind the image very well done

This tender moment with the vixen and her 4 cubs sealed it for me the framing and the sharpness is spot on and the contasting colour with the deep red of the vixen and the grey of the young cubs, i was bowled over by it technically there is nothing i can really say the image as everything that i would be envious of photographing very well done to the photographer a much deserved 1st place

I am no expert on sea creatures so had to google this one, the image of this nautilus larvae as been captured perfectly the colours really stand out against the black and underwater macro photography can't be easy but the photogrpher as done an amazing job considering the size of the object this just had to make my top 10 very well done to the photography
