A Row of Arches

what a great find. its beautiful, simple, great lighting on the arches. lovely shapes. an altogether pleasing photograph. i never look at descriptions whilst choosing but i can see now that its in north yorks where im from originally but ive never seen this before ! well done on a lovely entry.

what a very pretty bridge. on brief with arches in a row. lovely autumnal colours around which is what made me shortlist it straight away. great colour and clarity but not overdone. thanks for entering my comp. i was blown away by the response. congrats

i really like the simplicity of this photo . it was on brief with the row of arches and in particular i loved the sunlight shining onto the stonework. the figure adds an interest to the picture and the palm trees frame the arches. thanks for your entry congrats.

what a stunning building. beautiful colours and i liked in particular the golden light reflected in the windows of the arches. its symmetrical. good clarity and a worthy top ten placement. thanks for submitting your lovely photo into my competition. the standard was amazing on this one.

what i liked most about this one is that it shows the row of arches as part of everyday life. people sat chatting , resting, meeting friends. a lovely area to come to on a sunny day and enjoy the surroundings. the angle is great as i can see the arches still quite clearly. a great entry.
