What an intriguing shot! The silhouettes work really well against the much lighter backdrop of the cloud-laden sky and, yet again, both contrast and composition are served particularly well I think. A great spot, and my thanks for your entry.

I love the close-up detail you have captured here in this beautifully composed shot. The black and white works very well - there was really no other way to process such a shot was there? Another shot that immediately stood out for me, chiefly because of the high degree of contrast with the lighter areas revealing just the right amount of detail. I particularly like the composition with what looks to be an added grainy effect. Lovely - and my thanks for your entry.

One of very few shots of an Angel taken from behind entered into this competition.. You were clearly thinking outside of the box when you took this shot. Composition is spot on as is the level of contrast - and I particularly like the low cloud in the background and the fact there is no sky. Bravo, and congratulations on your winning shot.

What a beautiful, simple, well-observed and processed shot. I tend to prefer a higher degree of contrast, but the relative lack of that in this image works really well indeed, resulting in an almost dream-like effect. The low F number has nicely blurred out the background detail, to ensure the viewers' attention remains focussed on the subject matter. I love it, and many thanks for this entry.
