Great contest!

This is a crazily funny on brief entry. For me it is not only that the gull has speared its beak into the box but because the box is empty too. I love the soft focusing on the second bird which seems to be looking on in disbelief at the other bird. The main bird is pin sharp and positioned really well in the frame with lots of space to go in any direction. Well done for a great, fun image.

WOW, this is crazy. I never knew horses loved to shop! I like the strong position of the horse in the frame. Not only does it fill it but it stops you being distracted too. You have captured the horse really well keeping it sharp and toned beautifully well. The shine on the top mane is great. A lovely comical on brief entry, well done.

This is a great shot which has left me wondering why the bird was investigating this envelope in the first place. I like the positioning of the bird slightly to the left as it gives it more space. You have captured the black feathers beautifully well as you have retained a great deal of detail in them. The eye is lovely and sharp and has a really nice catchlight in it. A great shot, so well done.

This may appear rather gruesome, but for me it is a key insight into nature that is not known to very many. I have been interested in birds a long time and my Dad even longer and we have never seen this occur. So for me, for you to have captured it is amazing . The image is sharp throughout, has lovely tones and contrast and is well composed. A really interesting and unique on brief entry, well done.

This is crazy. Firstly well done for getting this shot and secondly thankyou for entering it and thirdly I hope everyone is OK after this encounter. Photographically this shot is 100% spot on. It is pin sharp, has beautiful colours and tones and is framed brilliantly well too. For me a very unusual item for a wild animal to be seen holding so 100% on brief as well. A very worthy winner. Congratulations.

You have captured a lovely tender moment between two bears beautifully well. They are positioned well in the frame, are pin sharp and have great colours and tones. I love how one bear has its huge paw up. A cracking shot, well done.

This is a great shot. I know gulls take our ice creams, but a tennis ball, well this is another level. The gull is pin sharp, well positioned in the frame and has lovely tones and colours too. I like how the tennis ball is scruffy and not new as it adds more interest to the image along with more humour. Afterall why steal an old tennis ball in the first place? I also think the water coming from the tennis ball is great.

This is one cheeky bird that obviously likes custard. I like how you have filled the frame with the bin so that there's no other distractions. I also think the position of the Jackdaw is spot on. The whole image is pin sharp throughout too. A lovely fun image, well done.
