This photo’s composition is fantastic. It draws the viewer’s eyes in and grabs attention with its horizontal lines, play of light and dark and interesting subject matter. It fits the brief perfectly, too, transporting the viewer back in time. The lines of the sand dune add an artistic appeal and I love the way the camel’s heads lead into them. Beautifully done!

This photograph is fantastic and fits the biblical brief perfectly. I love the pensive, thoughtful expression on the camel driver’s face and the archaic style of costume he’s wearing. The photograph has beautiful clarity as well, and wonderful play of light and dark, which draws the viewer’s eye inward, towards the subject. I would have liked to have seen the top of the camel he’s leading but otherwise it’s a flawless composition. Congratulations on a well deserved win.
