Great colour, composition and so much depth! I find my eyes looking all over this shot at all the details. Your post-processing has worked a treat to make this shot stand out. I don't usually go for images that have this much work done on them but I can't resist liking this one. And of course, a real classic car in it's day which must have some great stories to tell.
What a cracking photograph and nicely post-processed to clean it up and give it impact on the screen! While I was looking at my top 10 it kept on jumping out at me and gradually got pushed up to the number one spot. Wish you'd told us more about the shot in your details I'm sure we would have all loved to hear the back story. I can see from your lens choice it has tonnes of reach (Sony 200-600mm), but I'd love to know what happened next.

I can't resist a good black-and-white photograph, this shot draws you in, I find myself looking at it over and over again. This a well-deserved top-10 slot for you. I think if the woman's eye had been 1cm further forward or back it wouldn't have had the same impact. and a really nice black and white conversion. Well done.
Such a lovely simple image, well done. love how the light reflects and helps with the silhouette of the vehicle against the background. Just one thing spotted this getting into the top 10, the horizon isn't horizontal. If only you'd tweaked it so it was level! I don't mind when a shot is not straight if the shot calls for it but this being water and a horizon line really needed it. I mean this totally constructively for future shots you take. Well done.
I'm a big fan of motion panning shots as they give a real sense of the speed and power of a car but so many times the background and post-processing ruins a great shot. I think you got it just right in this one and at 1/20th of a second you got plenty of motion. If you've not tried it yet, do have a go at turning it down even more, 1/5th of a second can create some amazing effects, but the hit rate does drop even lower. All you need is one that's sharp and you'll it. Well done on getting a top 10 spot.
Really nicely taken motion panning shot and at 1/60th this car was motoring in the rain. I'd have probably added a contrast curve myself to get that red popping off the page but that's my personal preference. This is also a good example of when a rotated horizon really works as it lifts the shot up another level. Well done.

One for the petrolheads (and batteryheads?) here, as we explore the 136 years of motoring history since Carl Benz patented his Benz Patent-Motorwagen. The world of cars is a vast and varied one, from top-end Formula 1 machines to utilitarian workhorses by the likes of Ford and VW. And as the age of the mass-produced electric car dawns, a new chapter in the history of cars is already being written.
Love this shot, full of power and speed, with lots of motion in the dust trail but still tack sharp on the car. Such a shame you didn't submit any details on your camera choice, setting, or background of how the shot was taken. It could have made it into the top 10 if you had. Also, I'm not a fan of logos on images, it just takes away the impact of your shot. Saying all that I do love it and was so close to making it into the top 10. Well done.
I love this shot, the use of subtle lighting to highlight the shape and colour of this all-time classic car, which, really does epitomize the history of the car. Well done. I saw your other shots of the Ford GT in the competition which are also lovely but this car met the brief bang on. Nice work and congratulations.
